**Design Draftsperson - C/M & E/I**

**Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations**

1) Education: Graduation from a community college as either a Civil/Mechanical Technologist.
2) Knowledge of construction standards, installations, and materials.
3) Knowledge of design standards and industry practice in creation of drawings. Proficient in AutoCAD.
4) Ability to theory to develop practical designs, meets schedule requirements for projects, and keeps abreast of technical engineering data.
5) To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have general knowledge and understanding of engineering mathematics and concepts; and a basic understanding of design, systems, and construction processes.
6) Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of drafting or equivalent field experience related to system design, construction, and commissioning.
7) Other Skills: The individual must be organized and demonstrate an understanding of principles used to establish and maintain systems in a plant environment. In order to develop and maintain the required skills, initiative and commitment to education from internal and external sources is required. Excellent communication skills are required to ensure that the design intent is developed and communicated. This individual is generally self-directed and can manage and complete job assignments independently.
