Total Horizontal is a full-service Shallow Utility Contractor that specializes in providing safe, efficient, and reliable services to our clients around Western Canada.

Our experienced field team, along with our fleet of modern equipment and electronic quality management systems ensure that your project is completed safely and to your specification.

We use horizontal directional drilling, hydrovac and mechanical excavation to complete projects across Western Canada. These services are combined for a turn key solution, or subcontracted individually as the project requires.

Our team has completed over 70 km’s shallow utility work across Western Canada. With over 30 combined years of HDD experience; our Management team has successfully managed the completion of over 140 major HDD’s across Canada. With locations in Calgary and Edmonton, Total Horizontal Drilling is able to service projects in any region.

Must haves:

- Be willing to travel
- Experience with F5 Falcon series locators
- Experience directing drill crews
- Valid Drivers License
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Standard First Aid
- Confined Space
- WHMIS 2015

**Responsibilities**:

- Transport drilling equipment to and from location
- Set up / tear down drilling equipment on site
- Efficiently direct crew to complete installations by hdd
- Ensure the safe operation of directional drills without supervision
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Perform daily inspections of equipment, and maintain drilling equipment in excellent working order
- Change drill tooling
- Mix drill fluids as required
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Read / write / speak English fluently
- Additional duties as job required

Paid Travel, Living Allowance when working out of town.

Open to Canadian residents only.

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Drilling: 1 year (preferred)
- Locating: 1 year (preferred)
- 100k rigs & larger: 1 year (preferred)
- 50k rigs and smaller: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 3 or 1 (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- Ground Disturbance Level 2 (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (required)
