**The Position**

You will be immersed in the day-to-day operations of our Flatbed Cross Border Division in Hagersville, ON. Working closely with the rest of the dispatch team, you will be a primary point ofcontact for our drivers and customers. Responsible for truck utilization and customermanagement, you will thrive under pressure and bring strong communication to ourestablished team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team oriented, fast pacedenvironment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and equipment to appropriate locations according to our customer requests, specifications, or needs, to maximize utilization per truck
- Assist in meeting goals and business plans
- Schedule the maintenance of trucks/trailers when needed at approved vendor locations
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to our customers and enter their orders into our Transportation Management System (TMS) with proper information based on customer requirements
- Receive driver’s paperwork and ensure it gets to the customer service/billing department in a timely manner
- Assist in any compliance/regulatory duties as needed
- Abide by Canadian transportation regulations on a provincial, and federal level
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Must have experience in the transportation industry, or experience in operations/logistics
- Post-secondary education (Degree or Diploma) in business or operations/logistics is an asset
- Knowledge of AS400 and LoadLink is an asset
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers daily
- Strong customer-service skills
- Advanced Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and go the extra mile
