Sylvite Transportation consists of more than 135 tractor units and more than 400 trailers to support our valued customers and their logístical requirements. Sylvite Industrial Chemical supports a variety of partners within the agriculture, bulk chemical, construction, energy, forestry, mining and water treatment industries.

We are hiring for a General Operator for our Granton (Ontario) location

What you would be doing:

- Responsible for supporting the operations of the branch/terminal in receiving, handling and shipping crop input products
- Operate Terra Gator
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain professionalism and a customer service attitude towards customers or truck drivers when delivering or picking up products at the branch
- Receive trucks (or railcars and vessels where applicable) of fertilizer, seeds, chemicals or other products
- Load trucks with fertilizer
- Make fertilizer blends as directed by the sales team for customer pick-ups or deliveries
- Perform routine maintenance on loading and blending equipment
- Package fertilizer or other dry products as required
- Load packaged products with a forklift as required
- Perform routine clean up and maintenance of the site
- Perform functions as requested by the relevant supervisor

What we're looking for:

- General Labourer experience
- 1+ year loader experience
- Forklift certificate preferred
- AZ/DZ license is an asset
- Custom Application experience is an asset

- loader: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
