**Who is a Rehab Supervisor - Rehab and Allied Health?**

As an integral part of the ParaMed team, the Rehab Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of allied health care professionals who are caring for clients within the community. You will have the knowledge to assess, implement and evaluate a wide range of clinical care interventions to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and ethical care.

**What you will be doing**:

- Supervise and support allied health care professionals to ensure practices comply with all federal and provincial legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures.
- Respond to and advises/resolves concerns from community staff, patients/families, and other team members.
- Provide ongoing leadership through regular huddles, face to face meetings and one-on-ones.
- Initiate patient safety incident investigations and documents to ensure timelines and action plans are met.
- Work collaboratively with nursing team members to support clinical documentation and submission requirements according to specific funder reporting guidelines.
- Engage patients in problem solving using a collaborative approach, offering health teaching, rapport building and trust to identify patient health care needs, strengths, capacities, and goals.
- Engage staff in problem solving, offering education, coaching, and mentoring in resolution of problems.
- Maintain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide safe, efficient, effective service in all areas of practice by keeping abreast of changes in practice setting that affect scope of practice.

**Experience you bring**:

- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist or Registered Nurse in good standing with the CNO
- Possesses an understanding of the principles of community health care practices
- Proven experience leading and managing a team
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines is required
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
- Commitment to professional development in clinical practice that is relevant to home health care
- Strong track record of effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Position Screening (VPS)
