- This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Prince George, BC**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- As a Parts Counterperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians in obtaining required parts and supplies while achieving monthly sales targets through encouraging additional parts sales.**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the PSR’s and parts counter staff with equipment parts questions- Support the PSR’s with Undercarriage, GET, and attachment quotes where we can- Support the Prairies stores as we move into all make all model equipment parts- Identify and develop training material for Equipment parts in Compass- Work closely with the Equipment Service Technical Support Reps to develop parts and service synergies- Be the first point of contact for part issue escalation- Provide individual training with staff via MS teams when issues arise.. Ie not placing a case order correctly- Help with building RSL’s and identifying what to stock in each location and corporate warehouses- Support Part Sales Support with BC bid contracts for Parts. IE Yellowhead Road and Bridge cutting edge order. $1 million plus orders- Review Daily backorder reports from OEM’s and escalate as required.- Help with developing the PPP brand for Equipment partsIe identify parts that can be sourced in the aftermarket- Source urgently needed parts- Helping to manage the parts side of PSB, PIPs and campaigns.- Other duties as assigned.**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Post-secondary diploma or trade certification preferred.
- 4+ years related experience in truck parts sales
- Prior parts counter sales experience or parts/warehousing knowledge
- Must have a detailed understanding of the 3 OEM’s dealer operating manuals for parts
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Great interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with others.
- Ability to self-manage time and set priorities while handling multiple responsibilities.
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong business ethics with a professional approach at all times
- Must have valid Driver’s License**SALARY AND COMPENSATION**
- The hourly range for this position is $25.64 - $42.74 depending on experience.**CANADA BENEFITS PACKAGE**
