Experienced Barbers

_**We are seeking experienced barber instructors**_ **to add to our team for our 2023 courses;**_

**WHO YOU ARE / QUALIFICATIONS;**
- licensed / certified barber or at least 3 years minimum barber experience (red seal or similar licensing)
- experience working in a teaching / instructing setting is an asset
- enthusiastic team player
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work under time-sensitive environments

**JOB DESCRIPTION -**
- At Junior’s Barbershop & School we teach the fundamentals of urban style barbering. Everything from skin fades to classic cuts to braids. Students walk in and professional barbers walk out. 75% of our curriculum is hands-on practical experience. Your job and an instructor would be to work with the head instructor to demo and supervise lessons for our students. _

**AVAILABILITY NEEDED - we currently run 3 courses, looking for someone to take 2 - 6 reoccurring course days from the following schedule;**

**SUN / MON** ----- _1:30pm - 8:30pm / 4:30pm - 9:30pm _

**TUES / WED** ----- _4:30pm - 9:30pm _

**FRI / SAT** ----- _4:30pm - 9:30pm / 10:30am - 5:30pm_

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-34 per week

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- barber (required)
- teaching / instructing (preferred)

Work Location: One location
