**Job Duties**:
As an Assistant to the Career Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients throughout their career development journey. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Train clients in resume and cover letter writing: Assist clients in crafting effective resumes and cover letters tailored to their specific career goals. Provide guidance on formatting, content, and highlighting relevant skills and experiences.
- Conduct interview training: Prepare clients for job interviews by conducting mock interviews, offering feedback, and providing strategies to enhance their interview performance. Help clients develop strong communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms: Utilize social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to enhance clients' professional profiles and networking opportunities. Advise clients on leveraging social media for job search and career advancement.
- Proficiency in Excel and Trello: Utilize Excel for data management and analysis purposes. Utilize Trello for project management and organizing client information effectively.
- Experience in career services: Demonstrate a strong understanding of career development principles and practices. Utilize your knowledge and expertise to provide personalized guidance and support to clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and maintain a high level of professionalism. Build rapport with clients, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Preferred experience in multiple areas: Prior experience in accounting, data analysis, marketing, or information technology is highly desirable. This experience will allow you to provide targeted guidance to clients pursuing careers in these fields.
- Recruitment strategy development: Stay updated on current labor market trends and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet business requirements. Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines to support client placements.
- Problem-solving and maturity: Deal with client issues with maturity and thoughtfulness, addressing any concerns or challenges that arise during the career development process. Provide appropriate guidance and support to resolve issues effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in career services, including resume writing, cover letter writing, and interview training.
- Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, with a demonstrated ability to identify and attract top talent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools like Trello.
- Experience with international student recruitment is preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners and clients.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
