**Job Summary**
Casual Designated Early Childhood Educators work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to plan and implement a full day early learning program within a classroom setting. Casual Designated Early Childhood Educators work on an "as needed" basis, filling in for staff who are away or on leave. Assignments vary from one or two days up to one year.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education Proof of current registration, in “Good Standing” with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (please upload a copy as an "Additional Document")Knowledge of the Ministry of Education Full-Day Early Learning Program
- Ability, experience and skill in working as a member of a teamAbility to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with children, parents / caregivers, staff and the general public
- Understanding and commitment to confidentiality
- Basic computer skills
- Awareness of safe food handling practice
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and work environment
- Related experience in planning and implementing age-appropriate programs is an asset

- School-based experience is an asset.
