Daycare Worker

Job Overview:
We are a small, vibrant and play based daycare seeking workers to join our team. This position is excellent for early childhood education students, recent graduates or folks with industry relevant experience such as a prior home daycare operators. Certificate and diploma level students and grads welcome. International students welcome, strong English proficiency is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
- Supervise and engage children
- Monitor children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a positive learning environment
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting is preferred
- A genuine love for working with children and helping them learn and grow
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities simultaneously
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- Knowledge of child development principles and teaching methods

**Requirements**:

- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate or willing to obtain
- Clean criminal background check including vulnerable sector check
- Strong English proficiency, verbal and written
- Capcity to utilize an app based technology to communicate with parents and employer

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
