Description:
The Rental Technician is required to have the ability to perform many Technical Service tasks and duties as they relate to the rental business.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Utilizing a superior understanding of the client’s needs to provide exceptional customer service
- Procurement of other products and services that the customer may require
- Fill out on call log sheets and document all orders and attach to delivery ticket
- Support Billing Clerks by providing accurate information in a timely fashion
- Complete documentation for all non-conformance issues received by upper management
- Utilize technical support group for problem resolution
- Assist sales team by forming good working relationship with clients
- Participate in weekly operations meetings and monthly safety meeting
- Source 3rd party rental equipment
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to high quality product and customer satisfaction
- Look for and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and reduce company costs
- Provide or arrange technical support for oil and service company personnel as well as other Aero rental shops
- Solve problems for equipment in the field or find someone competent to assist to solve issues quickly
- Consistently keep lines of communication open to provide 24/7 support
- Assist service personnel with SOP and technical support
- Complete field hydraulic torque wrench jobs when required
- Complete field rig ups and tear downs of BOP's and frac heads when required
- Complete field frac head and valve greasing jobs including valve troubleshooting and minor repairs when required
- Complete priced work orders for field sign-off
- Service and provide maintenance to all Aero equipment, including shop and field repairs
- Complete post-job equipment servicing work orders and submit to billing in a timely fashion
- Provide or arrange technical support for oil and service company personnel as well as other Aero rental shops
- Assist management in day to day operations in all aspects for Aero requirements, including other items not mentioned above

**Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Must possess solid computer skills, particularly with Word and Excel
- Must be safety oriented
- Ability to interact and perform successfully in a team environment
- Able to prioritize work load and adjust work schedule to best suit clients and company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision
- Ability to undertake special projects and see them through to completion
- Strong trouble shooting and research skills
- Thorough understanding of technical equipment
- Ability to provide integrated knowledge to customers
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and interact responsibly with co-workers at all times
- Able to multi-task successfully in a fast paced environment
- Previous site knowledge of drilling and completion activities
- Possess technical knowledge of most oilfield products and equipment
- Knowledge of billing procedure considered an asset
- Rental Technician experience considered an asset
- Mechanical Experience on Trailers Light Plant Generators considered an asset
- H2S, TDG, WHMIS, First Aid tickets considered an asset
- Fork Lift Training considered an asset
- Over Crane Certified considered an asset

**Special Conditions of Employment**
- Overtime hours as required
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
