**Position Summary**:
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 12-month contract. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the firm by performing bookkeeping and transactional processing as part of the Corporate Finance Team. This role will report directly to the Manager, Corporate Accounting. The location of this role will be a hybrid schedule and based in our Vancouver office.

**As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your key accountabilities will involve**:

- Processing accounts payable (processing invoices, payments, and setting up new vendors).
- Referencing invoices to contracts to ensure accuracy, when applicable.
- Handling banking duties including creation of wires, transfers, and management of payment templates.
- Ensuring timely payments to avoid late fees and interest charges.
- Managing correspondence received from internal and external parties.
- Communicating with our vendors in a professional courteous manner.
- Providing additional accounting and administrative support as needed.
- Actively engaging in ongoing learning and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

**As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your experience and qualifications will include**:

- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting; equivalent experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Familiarity with SAGE 300 is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Concur SAP is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- The ability to build solid long-lasting relationships.
- The ability to anticipate problems and solve proactively.
- Willing to learn new skills and software.
- You have a high degree of professionalism and maturity.
- The ability to take direction and accept responsibility.
- You have strong time management skills, particularly the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.
