**Duties include but not limited to the following**:

- Communicate effectively and maintain contact with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Utilize Truck Dispatch Software systems to schedule and track shipments
- Coordinate trucking activities to optimize delivery schedules and truck revenues
- Work with third party logistics providers to streamline operations
- Operate phone systems for incoming and outgoing calls
- Solving problems effectively as they arise

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in English
- Previous experience in dispatching is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and typing skills
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry practices
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks successfully
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Committed to providing superior customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Reports to**:
Head Dispatcher

**Flexible Language Requirements**:English required,French is an asset

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday with some weekends as needed

**Experience**:Minimum 1 year Dispatching

**Work Location**:In person, Pitt Meadows, BC

**Salary**:Competitive compensation package based on level of experience, skills, education and training

Pay: From $33,500.00 per year
