**Description**:
Working closely with the business and technical teams, the System Analyst participates in all steps of the IT development process. The role includes prioritising and investigating support tickets, identifying requirements for enhancements and projects, creating solutions and ensuring quality deliverables. The System Analyst role is involved in projects from start through to post implementation. The IT System Analyst understands business processes and provides the link between business and technology using excellent communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creates and documents solutions to fix bugs and to deliver enhancements and projects
- Maintains solution documentation throughout a project and creates business documentation for new project deliverables
- Performs MIS Testing and coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Prioritizes tasks together with the team to achieve team goals for support, enhancements and projects
- Works closely with developer team communicating required solutions, answering questions and providing feedback on deliverables
- Investigates the causes of reported issues and trains users on solutions
- Tracks and reports on ticket progress
- Interacts with business team colleagues to present recommendations in business terms
- Helps to produce analyses of benefits expected from solutions
- Other duties - assist on projects as required

**Position Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years experience;
- Post-secondary school education in related field;
- Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio required;
- Tourism industry experience considered an asset;
- Experience coordinating cross functional groups;
- Proven ability to collaborate, listen, use tact, synthesize information and reason
