**Warehouse Material Specialist**

**Summary**

The warehouse material specialist ensures the smooth and accurate operation of the warehouse, through the correct inspection, receiving, labeling, storing, picking and issuing of the materials available inside our facilities. This position takes care of the warehouse space, making it a clean and safe environment for all the people entering the area.

**Main duties**
- Verify incoming parts against documentation (PO, Packing slip).
- Execute incoming inspection for critical parts.
- Prepare materials for production based on pick lists.
- Handle material scrap and perform necessary inventory adjustments.
- Maintain organized stock and conduct partial inventory counts.
- Assist in packaging deliveries and ensure compliance with shipping instructions.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for internal and external transportation.
- Support daily warehouse operations and production schedules.
- Accurately track inventory using company data systems.
- Communicate shortage reports to the procurement team and adjust min/max levels.
- Continuously look for efficient storage methods, and the proper labeling of the areas and goods.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area through regular housekeeping.

**Applicable Procedures**
- PO receipts in GSS.
- Transfer of materials in GSS
- Physical adjustments in GSS.
- Issue of materials for WO.
- Scrap of non conformance parts.
- Standalone issues and receipts.
- Dispose parts due to quality rework.

**Applicable Reports**
- Physical adjustments report (Weekly).
- Quarantine amount report (Weekly).
- Scrap amount report (Weekly).
- Cyclic counts (As performed).
- Incoming inspection report (As performed).
- Availability of materials during picking (Weekly).
- Total value of the issued materials (Weekly).

**Equipment required.**
- PC station
- Trolley cart.
- Gloves
- Utility knife
- Safety glasses
- Safety boots
- Rack for test jigs.
- Various tools (Wire cutter, screwdrivers set, pliers, etc.)

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience in warehouse is preferred.
- Background experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Canada.
- Forklift certification is an asset.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
