Salary/Wage: From $30/hour, depending on experience.

**Job Type**: Permanent with flexible on site full-time/part time options.

We are a Logging Truck company located just south of Ladysmith, BC, looking for an experienced accounting person to aid in analyzing and reviewing financial transactions, review financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements, assist in payroll, and prepare sales and payroll tax payments and returns. Sangson Logging is a growing company with currently over a dozen hauling trucks operating throughout the central island and even more employees, some of which are unionized.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong experience in accounting and an ability to analyze and report financials, with good interpersonal skills. You would be able to use your experience and skills to develop a well-organized accounting team alongside several bookkeepers and external accountants.

This role would be well suited to someone with previous public accounting experience and/or working multiple roles within small-medium company accounting departments.

Other experience and skills that would be an asset:

- Knowledge of forestry and/or transportation industries.
- Post-secondary education such as a bachelor’s in accounting or similar certification.
- Strong understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Experience preparing and processing payroll.
- Ability to work as a team and desire to help develop skills in others.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Location: This position is on site at our Ladysmith office, but we do offer flexible workdays, and time off to accommodate your ideal work-life balance.
