**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform the duties of the Supervisor in the Supervisor’s absence.
- Perform daily checks that all pre-production safety, quality and productivity checks are completed by Team Members.
- Must be available in the production area at all times to be able to respond immediately to Team Members call for help (Andon) with the main goal of assisting the Team Member overcome the problem to preserve output for the customer.
- Assist as necessary to fill in temporarily for Team Members that are absent or need to leave the line (ex. bathroom break, etc.).
- Perform the start of shift activities of;
- Review of previous shift information regarding safety, quality, and productivity issues.
- Make work assignment adjustments based on absenteeism, training, etc.
- Walk the production area to confirm 5S, equipment readiness, and material supply conditions are to standard.
- Begin preparing safety, quality and productivity communication information for next shift.

- Work with manufacturing engineer to develop and implement work cell layouts, training with regards to work instructions, control cards/plans, quality and safety procedures, etc., and continuous improvement of Team Member Standardized Work for all processes in their respective area.
- Facilitate 5S and conduct daily audits. Initiate corrective actions as required for any non-conformance.
- Ensure standards are adhered to for the proper location and storage of all tools and equipment and the general housekeeping of the work area at end of shift.
- Ensure that production targets are achieved while ensuring FIFO and quality standards are met by reviews hour-by-hour performance at the work station hourly at a minimum and take action to solve problems that impact performance, report out first hour performance to the Supervisor along with any issues that will prevent the Team from reaching their goal.
- Observes each Team Member once per week (once every 2nd week for cycle times over 2 minutes, which includes long cycle work) performing standardized work to ensure it is being performed correctly, immediately addresses abnormalities and documents the results.
- Participated in continuous improvement activities outside their current location of responsibility to improve their capability.

- Lead and provide guidance to operators to achieve Company’s objectives in a fair manner while ensuring safety, quality and cost standards are met.
- Assist as necessary to ensure that First Off’s are completed on time.
- Review all suspect/scrap material and work with support departments to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and ensure that shift production reporting is recorded accurately and on time into the Trans4M and Blackhawk system.
- Rollstamp Cycle Count Rules.
- Area organized, labeled - 3S level.
- All locations must be counted - WIP, FG.
- Supervisors / Team Leaders are the champions.
- Print from Tran4M the count sheet prior to counting.
- Parts being counted must not be running.
- All adjustments required must be done immediately - CCAS.

- Ensure employees commence their shifts in a timely manner and after breaks.
- Foster a positive working environment with Operators, Peers, Supervisors and all other internal support departments.
- Use the forklift as required.
- Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designatded..
- Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.
- Any other reasonable request made by Management.
- Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.
- Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- College or University graduate requirement.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience in an automotive environment. With previous leadership experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency of basic industrial math, reading comprehension.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English (both written and spoken).
