**TYCROP **is looking for a **Technical Writer** to join our team in the Fraser Valley (we also have locations in Calgary and Texas)

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain customer product documentation including; Operator’s Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Serial Number Tracking Documentation, and Spare Parts Lists
- Work with multiple departments to establish style and content
- Provide engineering support to any relevant stakeholder
- Consistently implement technical writing standards and documentation of best practices and experiential learning
- Manage and continuously improve work instructions and other forms of technical instructions
- Works with mínimal or no supervision and is comfortable with virtual collaboration tools
- Approach teamwork with a partnership mindset
- Practice safe work procedures at all times
- Conduct additional tasks as requested

**Specific Skills**:

- Proficiency in technical communication
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team environment
- Strong work ethic
- Computer literacy in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro), Microsoft Office and familiarity with 3D software (SolidWorks, Composer), PDM, Syspro a bonus
- Strong visual / graphic intuition
- Time management
- Project and resource management
- Able to work independently

**Education and Experience**:

- Completion of a college/ university program in a related field
- 2 years+ Technical Writing experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
