**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, Earth Science), or equivalent as accepted by the appropriate professional association and 5 years related work experience.
- Registration or eligible for immediate registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
- (Note: Immediately eligible is defined as being registered as a professional in another Canadian jurisdiction and able to transfer that membership to a BC professional association within 6 months of employment. It is the responsibility of the applicant to have their qualifications reviewed by the appropriate body to ensure they have the necessary requirements for registration.)_
- Experience or specialized training in quantitative hydrogeology.
- Experience conducting groundwater investigations, including aquifer and well characterization, testing assessment and monitoring.
- Experience writing technical reports.
- Experience analysing and interpreting hydrogeological data.
- Experience developing technical solutions, guidelines and standards for aquifer characterization.
- Experience leading or coordinating interdisciplinary projects.
- Experience in any of the above working in British Columbia.
- Experience working collaboratively with Indigenous groups.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Experience managing contracts and supervising contractors.
- Experience with the Water Sustainability Act and Groundwater Protection Regulation
- Experience using GIS platforms and/or databases.

**Provisos**
- Willing to conduct field work.
- A valid BC Driver’s license is required.
- Willing to travel for meetings if required.
