**Role Proposition**:
**Accountabilities**:

- Coordinate the development & annual maintenance of departmental Standard Operating Guidelines in compliance with the Safety Management System and COR requirements
- Support the monthly building inspections program with a goal of 100% completion
- Assist the ongoing development of the environmental practices in alignment with the ISO 14001 standard
- Be the primary liaison for company contractors; administering the Contractor Management program, pre-arrival and while on site
- Lead the annual Contractor’s Orientations
- Provide recommendations to the OHS Manager to enhance the Contractor Management Program
- Check in with onsite contractors frequently, attend pre-job briefings, conducting random spot inspections to ensure compliance with company policy
- Support the employee injury reporting process in the absence of the OHS Manager
- Coordinate departmental employee training and OHS planned micro-training events
- Serve as Secretary on SPR & SPG Joint Health & Safety Committees & EMS Committees, taking minutes and coordinating the meeting preparations

- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- OH&S background 1+ years experience (Ski resort, Hospitality and Tourism, or Golf specific sectors is an asset)
- OH&S or Environmental education, or equivalent experience, is an asset
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required
- Ability to analyze data and develop reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate with multiple departments
- Valid Driver’s license
- Work activities will include Skiing/Snowboarding and Mountain Biking, Intermediate Skill Level is required
- Work activities involve handling loads of 5 kg but less than 10 kg?
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments (Summer and Winter)
