**What you will bring**
- Minimum of one year experience as a quality control technician
- Experience in a manufacturing environment in the food industry
- College diploma (D.E.C.) in laboratory technology or related field
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift a 20 lbs load
- Ability to work in a cold environment (5C)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate in French and English to serve our external customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

**The opportunity**

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that production operations are carried out in compliance with food safety regulations and in accordance with the standards of excellence in process and product quality.

**Schedule**: Primarily evening hours, 09:00 pm to 05:00 am but must be flexible to meet Nature's Touch Frozen Foods operational needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform quality testing of food products such as pH, Brix, total solid content, acidity, viscosity etc.
- Document and record results as instructed
- Operational inspection : Weight, temperature, seal, COO, Best before, GMP, GHP
- Swab analysis: ATP, Protein, Environmental
- SQF Verifications
- Perform sampling of raw material for the pathogens, pesticides, virus and quality indicator testing
- Perform the sampling of raw material for the Quality control analysis
- Record the container and sampling information in the container sample sheet
- Coordinate and manage the retention sample
- Verify the temperature recorder
- Investigate missing truck or container seal
- Other duties as assigned
