Glazier

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in windows, doors, and other structures. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various materials and tools.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, and install glass panels in windows, doors, and other structures
- Remove broken or damaged glass and replace it with new glass
- Fabricate and install aluminum frames for glass panels
- Install weatherstripping and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and tile layers, to complete projects
- Repair or restore damaged glass or frames as needed
- Operate tools and equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding machines

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Proficient in using tools and equipment related to glass installation (e.g., saws, drills, grinders)
- Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing glass panels
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to glazing work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
