Support Equipment/calibration Manager

Heli-One Canada is looking for a** Manager, Support Equipment/Calibration** at their Delta, BC location. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of support equipment management and calibration within our organization, playing a crucial role in ensuring that all support equipment used in various operations meets the required standards and is properly calibrated to maintain accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, managerial skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain EGBC Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) for Heli-One Canada.
- Develop and implement strategies for the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of support equipment.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to identify equipment needs and ensure timely acquisition.
- Design and maintain a comprehensive calibration program to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement and testing equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate calibration activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Analyze calibration data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Stay abreast of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to support equipment and calibration.
- Participate in internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Liaise with various departments (e.g., operations, engineering, quality assurance) to understand equipment requirements and support their needs.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure timely support and maintenance services.
- May perform other duties as required to support production needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered as a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
- Responsible Registrant as required by the EGBC and the BC Professional Governance Act.
- Proven experience (5 years) in equipment management, calibration, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, techniques, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and projects.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
