**SCOPE OF THE JOB/POSITION**

The Aircraft Programs Manager is responsible for the technical process of transitioning aircraft in and out of the Company's fleet including management of off-site inspection teams, induction work scopes, technical consulting, complying with all lease acceptance and return provisions and forecasting the cost thereof and other similar responsibilities as assigned. The Aircraft Programs Manager manager maintenance planning which includes daily operation communication, reporting out structure, out of base maintenance control, planning fleet wide both long term and short term. This position is responsible to the Vice President, Aircraft Maintenance Operations.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Participate in the planning and preparation of company budgets and strategic plans surrounding aircraft and engines;
- Manage all contract operations including import and export functions for leased aircraft and engines, managing payments, reporting and compliance;
- Provide continual oversight to ensure that all terms and conditions are met in the execution of contracts;
- Analyze and recommend operational and commercial terms for aircraft and engine leases and purchases;
- Develop and maintain maintenance forecast for Aircraft heavy checks, landing gear and engines maintenance on all Aircraft;
- Review all engine overhaul tear down reports and recommend cost saving initiatives;
- Monitoring and coordination of all maintenance activities for each aircraft on continuing bases;
- Responsible for the compliance of aircraft and power plant technical records;
- Lead and direct technical records team with the focus on continuous improvement and streamlining of document controls and lease agreement reporting;
- Manage the maintenance planning process;
- Responsible for short and long term forecasts including economic impact in accordance with budget;
- Support fleet allocation plan with Director of Operations Control;
- Planning of scheduled maintenance tasks to meet the criteria required by the applicable maintenance programs;
- Provide feedback to the Vice President of Maintenance Operations/Person Responsible on maintenance opportunities to streamline maintenance programs and optimize fleet utilization;
- Actively promote safety and quality within the organization and department by encouraging employee participation in SMS and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders;
- Comply with all SMS and safety policies, processes and standards;
- Other duties in relation to aircraft programs as assigned by the Vice President, Maintenance Operations.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Post-secondary Business Management or equivalent education;
- At least 4 years industry related work experience;
- Experience in aircraft leasing an asset;
- Supervisory and/or management experience;
- Sound knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Self-starter with demonstrated research, conflict resolution, communication and analytic skills;
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead and follow through with project objective;
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills;
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment, with high tolerance for change;
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player who can work in an autonomous and/or team setting;
- High degree of diplomacy and discretion when dealing with sensitive issues;
- Flexible and willing to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays when required;
- Fully vaccinated for COVID19.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- Secondary School (preferred)
