**Job Summary**:The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting established sales goals by utilizing a “hunters” mentality. This position is responsible for providing superior quality and service while maintaining the company’s high standards when interacting with customers, employees, partners, and vendors. The position requires the Sales Representative to produce sales quotes on your own custom designed systems based on customer requirements, as well as putting together proposals based on engineer consultants requirements.

**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Generate and qualify leads.
- Source and develop client referrals.
- Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
- Schedule sales activity.
- Develop and maintain a customer database.
- Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials.
- Plan and conduct direct marketing activities.
- Make sales calls to new and existing clients.
- Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Generate technical scopes of work (SOW) and detailed design narratives for technical solutions and associated cost estimates.
- Manage estimation process to include interfacing with multiple representatives of sales, management, and customer teams.
- Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and technical/functional design specifications to prepare compliant solutions.
- Research emerging technologies in support of security integration solutions.
- Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain systems, device, and equipment pricing during the estimating process.
- Negotiate with clients.
- Develop sales proposals.
- Present sales contracts.
- Conduct product training.
- Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports.
- Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically, or in person.
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
- Follow up on sales activity.
- Perform quality checks on product and service delivery.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management.
- Conduct market research and surveys.
- Participate in sales events.
- Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
- Follow up on the execution and installation of current projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of general sales experience; electronic security or technology-based experience is a plus.
- Strong time management and scheduling skills.
- Ability to develop objectives and strategies and manage one’s own performance.
- Work collaboratively within a team.
- Relationships, and Experience working with electrical contractors an asset.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
- Industry technology certifications specific to Fire, Burglar Alarm, Access Control, Camera Systems, and nurse call systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to maintain sensitive information.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and acquire additional certifications.
- Proficient in CRM software and other supporting software (i.e., AutoCAD, Excel, etc.).

Pay: $50,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
