- Helping you understand what your medications are for and ensure you are getting the most from them.
- Ensuring that any medications you might be taking won’t adversely react with each other causing unnecessary side effects.
- Working with other health professionals to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure or high cholesterol levels.
- Helping you understand your risk factors and share information on lifestyle choices and treatment options that will help you to enjoy a healthy, more active lifestyle.

We are currently looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at our clinical pharmacy.

We are a locally owned pharmacy that has been serving NW Calgary for the last 14 years. We support our patients in several specialty areas including compounding, weight loss, nutrition, diabetes, and travel medicine. Our environment is designed to support our team members and allow for opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Our goal is to collaboratively work with our patients and their care team to aid them in maintaining improving their health outcomes and quality of life.

A successful applicant would have the following qualities:

- A highly developed sense of customer care
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Listening and empathy skills
- Mature and enjoy working in a team environment
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks
- Experience working in retail pharmacy
- Experience with Pharmaclik Rx/Nexxsys an asset but not required

We offer a competitive wage, and employee benefits package. Our store is closed on Sundays and Holidays.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
