Pinnacle Tree & Shrub Care provides tree care services in the Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas. We are locally owned and operated. Since 1977, we have studied this field and we strive to provide a high level of service and care, using the latest arboriculture techniques. We promote training and growth within our industry, and we provide in-house training. We are members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) as well as the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

The goals of Pinnacle Tree & Shrub Care are to have crew members that are polite, courteous, and respectful of our clients and their properties. We want our employees to feel invested and engaged so we can achieve our goals together. To that regard we require our crew members to come with a good attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, to be able to work in a team setting or independently, and to have a high regard for safety, to ensure a safe work environment.

**Position Description**:
The skills and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

- Groundwork support for tree climbers, rigging operation and cutting trees
- Operating chainsaws, chippers and other equipment
- Assist crew leader in prepping job sites, clean up and equipment maintenance
- Capability to drive a truck with a trailer
- Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the crew leader or designated supervisor, Arborist representative, or local manager
- Abide by industry safety policies and procedures

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid “G” license required with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Willingness to work towards becoming a certified Arborist
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Previous landscape/horticulture experience considered an asset
- An understanding of knots would be an asset
- Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress
