**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Director, Distribution Communications, the Manager, Distribution Communications is responsible for developing communications for large-scale, cross-organizational and change management initiatives that require advanced knowledge of communications, organizational practices and market practices. The incumbent will maintain an understanding and awareness across the business and the organization and ensures a unified view of ‘our story’ for use in communications, both within the organization and in public capacities. They will present a unified view of all channels while also representing each channel’s nuances, objectives, and unique structure. They will also act as communication strategy consultant for Distribution Communications team, proving insights and learnings from large-scale initiatives.

**What you will do**
- Leads development of communications and change management plans for high-profile Advisory Network or cross-organizational initiatives.
- Translates Advisory Network and project objectives into effective communications plans, ensuring that strategies and approaches align with AN leadership and needs of advisors
- Collaborates with and presents to senior stakeholders (VP+ levels)
- Influences cross-functional teams on communications approaches and best practices.
- Prepares and leads strategies for transformative, enterprise level projects with high degree of interdependency and complexity, managing from strategy through execution
- Represents Advisory Network on cross-enterprise projects, advocating for advisor and channel needs
- Works in collaboration with the corporate communications and distribution communications teams to support Advisory Network’s growth plans by:

- Developing and implementing a multi-faceted range of innovative and effective communication programs, services, and templates
- Developing standards and guidelines for change management communications strategies and plans
- Evaluating effectiveness of communications implementation
- Advocates best practices on communication and change management to ensure organizational consistency Inspires creativity in writing and advocates for use of simple language across all communications
- In collaboration with Distribution Communications leadership team, defines efficient work processes within Advisory Network

**What you will bring**
- 7+ years of Marketing, Journalism, or Communications experience
- Marketing degree, Business Communications, Bachelor of Business Administration-Marketing, Communication studies, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of financial services experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership on the development and communication of large-scale strategies and transformation
- Exceptional messaging skills; develops effective messages and materials that tell compelling stories and help others close sales
- Track record of collaboration and influence while working in cross corporate teams, ability to resolve tensions and work cross functionally
- Broad knowledge of all aspects of marketing and communications (e.g. creative production, product/service content creation and messaging, etc)
- Structured and analytical planning approach, designs appropriate work-back schedules to drive effective implementation
- Applies a structured process to arrive at creativity
