About the Role

We are a fast-growing technology company searching for a motivated Inventory Assistant in our Production team who welcomes the challenge of meeting the needs of a growing business. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and a demonstrated record of delivering results. **Note: This is not a remote job and your presence at the workplace is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage hardware components and products inventory and keep track of the inventory movements including record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from the inventory
- Manage shipping and receiving by unpacking and routing goods and supplies to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain internal record keeping systems.
- Support production team with last mile production steps including product assembly, labeling, packaging, inventory recording, and shipment
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices/packing lists or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Work environment: indoor office environment

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in Google Drive (Google Docs, Google sheets)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Experience in hardware components and product inventory management and tracking
- 2 years of experience as inventory control clerk
- Experience in Shipping and logistics
- Detail-oriented with the ability to exercise extreme attention to detail
- Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with domestic and international shipping logistics

Bonus Points
- Knowledge of electronic components and devices.
- Working knowledge of Asana and Airtable is an Asset.
- Experience with working with ERP systems is an asset
