Communications and Marketing Manager

The primary role of this position is to help build, and maintain TUC’s brand, reach and influence. This will include the management and expansion of TUC’s social media platforms, website, newsletter, traditional media through assessment and adaptive implementation of marketing strategies and creativity. This positions draws on the expertise of TUC’s technical staff while supporting projects and events.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead creation and execution of a marketing strategy in-line with our core purpose and values.
- Manage public relations including copywriting for SM feeds, media outreach, and events
- Manage a digital marketing, review reports, take action and update feeds as needed
- Create, schedule and manage all marketing activities
- Build and present post campaign reports and analytics
- Utilize and develop AB testing tools
- Copywriting for marketing materials and websiteMinimum 2 years of experience in marketing and communications

**Qualifications**:

- University or College degree in Marketing, Business, or Communication is preferred
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience in e-marketing, analytics and SEO
- Experience with social media and management platforms, website management
- Demonstrating experience in managing multiples projects, project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Working experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom considered a strong asset
- Detailed understanding of CASL considered an asset
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in French would be considered an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem solving, organization and multi-tasking skills
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

**Salary**: From $46,000.00 per year
