Control Panel Builder

We are looking for an individual who is responsible for the fabricating control panels including panel layout, wiring, and testing.

**Job duties**:

- Fabrication of control panels which includes wiring and assembly of panel components
- Operate tools necessary for panel assembly and related activities
- Testing to ensure accuracy of assembly and safety
- Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors; compress steel laminations to build transformer cores; assemble windings into core using overhead cranes and make electrical connections using crimping, brazing and soldering equipment.
- Assemble and fit electrical motor or transformer auxiliary equipment such as bushings, tap changes, conduit boxes, heating devices, protective equipment and cooling equipment
- Safety which includes maintaining a safe work environment, following drawings and instructions to ensure safe panel fabrication, operating all tools and equipment in a safe manner, etc.
- Crating of completed panels for shipment
- Occasional travel may be required to make panel changes or to assist with system commissioning

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Electrical wiring: 3 years (preferred)
