**Major Responsibilities**:

- To report to the Production Manager and communicate all matters pertaining to the wiring and terminations of all electrical components within the PythonX structural fabrication system.
- To build/wire electrical panels, sub-assemblies and structures for new installations and for the upgrading of existing equipment.
- To troubleshoot any problems which occur within the plant, either on the facility itself or on production equipment.
- To follow maintenance schedule as closely as production permits, and when equipment is down temporarily perform such functions as replacing motors, bearings, springs, contacts and on / off switches.
- To know that the company safety procedures are contained in reference books, such as SSW Specifications, Plant Rules and Regulations, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
- To immediately notify management if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding safety procedures.
- To continually meet company housekeeping and safety requirements, to identify and report any safety hazards within the plant, meet all WHMIS objectives and standards ensuring that all safety procedures are met.
- To participate co-operatively as an employee within the Company Performance Appraisal Process and Merit Rating System.

**Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements**:

- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be able to lift on a regular basis up to 40lbs
- Possess problem solving skills, communication skills
- Ability to use power hand tools for aid in assembly
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job
- Electrical Assembly experience is an asset
- Forklift and crane experience an asset
