**Job Description - Planner/Scheduler (SK or AB office)**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain project schedules using production and budget information from project management leads across all business units
- Coordinate with various teams to gather project requirements and create detailed plans
- Evaluate and analyze production progress and identify possible risks/ delays to schedule or budget
- Provide technical expertise to resolve difficult production and schedule problems
- Identify critical paths and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
- Analyze the impact and extent of delays and major schedule changes
- Review construction contractor’s schedules, monitor progress against planned completion and contract milestones
- Generate project reports, trends and forecasts: communicate and present reports to management, as well as to external stakeholders
- Prepare, define and compile project controls baseline and track progress against baselines
- Keep track of progress claims, change orders and extra work orders
- Assist in the development of project budgets
- Support estimating team with baseline scheduling for bid process and estimates
- Other duties as assigned by management
**Requirements/ Experience**
- At least 3 years of experience as a scheduler in the industrial and/or resource sector or with industrial construction projects
- Advanced knowledge of schedule software and core standards, including experience using Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project
- An understanding of MasterFormat and WBS utilization
- An understanding of resource loading, critical path, forecasting and float optimization
- A degree in project/ construction management or engineering
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
- A comprehensive understanding of constructions processes, procurement sequences, load requirements and construction methods
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to read and understand blueprint and construction drawings
- A problem-solver with strong analytical skills
- Ability to give support and direction to project personnel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Salary**: $81,000.00-$87,000.00 per year
