Snow Plow Driver

Hiring for the upcoming winter season. Looking for a snow plow operator for residential and commercial snow plowing, using a 3/4 ton pickup truck with a V-blade snow plow.

Join our team to help keep our community and customers safe this winter. You will be working part-time/on-call whenever it snows. If you have done snow removal in the past then you know all about it.

We offer great hourly pay-rates and if interested, the ability to join our team in the spring/summer season doing property maintenance, lawn mowing and landscaping.

Must be able to commit to a shift every time it snows late November to the end of March/mid-April.

Based in the Town of Lunenburg. Route is Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and surrounding areas.

Pay is $20-25/hr. Depending on experience. Flexible options for paychecks; bank your hours or get paid weekly. Average shift is 8-12 hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate snow plow equipment to clear driveways and parking lots, during winter weather conditions
- Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other tools
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow removal requests
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure efficient snow removal operations
- Inspect and maintain snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating snow plow equipment

**Requirements**:

- Preference is given to applicants with previous experience operating snow plow equipment
- Experience with trucks and equipment and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques for snow removal
- Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Valid driver's license
