**Position type: In Person & Virtual, Specialized Tutoring**

**Description**:

- Working under clinical psychologists, be part of a great team that provides one-on-one services to students who are having academic difficulties.
- Work collaboratively to create an academic intervention plan for students, deliver it and monitor the outcomes.
- Work with some of the newest assistive technologies.
- Partake in monthly consultation meetings with your supervisor and occasional

Professional Development workshops.
- Training will be provided for specific evidence-based programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Have attained or are working towards a Masters in Education, Masters of

Teaching or Masters degree in Psychology, or equivalent.
- Prior or current teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the range of disabilities that impact learning.
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide age range of students.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in using video conferencing software, such as Zoom.
- Ability to be flexible in responding to continually changing program demands.
- Must be available to work evenings or weekends.
**-CBM knowledge/experience is an asset.**

This in an hourly based contract position with a 3-month probationary period. The services are delivered primarily in-person, virtual sessions are assigned based on client needs/preferences. A valid VSC is required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
