Sanitation Worker

Our Natural Health Products facility is looking for a hardworking Sanitation Worker to disinfect surfaces, sanitize all components of our production and processing equipment, and ensure that there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line. You will also clean the floors, walls and warehouse, ensure that the building ventilation is clean and working correctly, and refill sanitary products as needed.

**Sanitation Worker Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintaining a clean facility following predetermined clean schedules as per GMP practices
- Sanitization of equipment, tools, production and non-production areas
- Documentation of cleans required
- Understanding facility SOPs
- Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble processing equipment
- Dispose of waste along the assembly line
- Sweep and mop the floors
- Dust ventilation ducts to ensure proper airflow
- Report potential issues to management
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

**Salary**: $16.50-$17.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
