We are currently looking to add a Casual Cook to our CV family. The Cook is responsible for the dietary needs of the children within our Centres. This should all be done in accordance with the vision, brand and culture of Childventures.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Purchasing food within a budget
- Preparing food according to the daily schedules of the program
- Clean, safe and sanitary kitchen areas
- Preparing substitutions according to children’s allergies and food restrictions
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy object and stand for a prolonged period of time

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 years cooking experience
- Must have food handlers’ certificate
- Knowledge of the Canada’s Food Guide
- Flexible to support multiple locations

**MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2 Step TB Test Results
- Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
