Dimensional Control Surveyor

Dimensional Control uses proven high-precision survey techniques and modern survey equipment to collect highly accurate as-built 3D data (Reality Capture) on new or existing mechanical, structural, and civil engineering projects. This precisely collected spatial data is used during project planning and execution phases to avoid uncertainty related to interface integration and measurement anomalies.

We are seeking a Dimensional Control Surveyor to join our team in Labrador City.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate effectively within a survey team, with minimum supervision.
- Carry out all aspects of Dimensional Control and Laser Scanning (as required within general survey work activities).
- Prepare survey drawings and reports, using Auto-Cad, Excel, Word, etc.
- Train and assess Trainee personnel.

Required Qualifications:

- Geomatics Technology Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of survey experience
- Experience with various forms of survey technology including topography, GPS, Total Station, Laser Scanning, and 3-D calculation and drawing software.
- Experience with Leica Reality Capture Equipment and Software.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Ability to execute most tasks including surveying, calculations, drawings, and related survey reports, and competent in operating a Laser Scanner and Total Station.
- Must be comfortable in written and oral communication skills and well organized
- Must be prepared to travel.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- surveying: 3 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Labrador City, NL A2V 2A2 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Labrador City, NL A2V 2A2: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
