Summer Tutor

Job Description:

- Create, follow, and update individualized educational programs
- Compose reports regarding the individual programs of children assigned
- Supervise children during outdoor breaks and lunch
- Monday through Thursday, 7:30am - 3:30pm, June 24-August 22, 2024

Qualifications:

- Relevant post-secondary education
- Strong academic, organizational, and motivational skills
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- Aware of the needs of children with learning disabilities (LD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Patient, positive, compassionate to raise the self-esteem of students
- Enjoys working with children
- Career interest in teaching, social work, or related field
- Sign and abide by an oath of confidentiality
- between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
- a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or refugee; and
- legally entitled to work according to Ontario legislation and regulations

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 9 weeks

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
