**RESPONSIBILITIES: Full Cycle Bookkeeping for clients across industries**
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
- Update and maintain the general ledger & balance sheet
- Organize and retrieve information from clients
- Create and maintain relationships with clients
- Process accounts receivable/payable
- Process and post payroll in a timely manner
- Reconcile accounts - credit cards, bank accounts, monthly vendors statements
- GST - ensuring timely filing and remittances
- PST - ensuring timely filing and remittances
- WCB - ensuring timely filing and remittances
- Post & Maintain journal entries
- Reports as necessary
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent communication and organization skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Our expectation is once we train you on the client work, you will be left to manage your workload/client deliverables/deadlines. In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must have relative experience and or completed training in Bookkeeping and be available to work on site during regular business hours. This is permanent position with no ability to work from home, you must be able to reliably commute to our office.
**SOFTWARE SKILLS**:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
- Familiar with Accounting software - Sage, Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks desktop, Profile, Caseware
- Gmail - googledocs
This position requires completion of a confidentiality agreement.
