**Job Title**: Residential Siteworks - Heavy Equipment Operator
**Location**: Northumberland County
**Position Description**:
Our high-growth business is seeking an experienced Residential Siteworks Heavy Equipment Operator to join the Fidelity Engineering and Construction Inc. team. This position will directly support the needs of Fidelity Homes Inc. and play a key role in the organization’s ability to efficiently meet project deadlines and contribute to the organization’s total customer satisfaction effort.
**Responsibilities / Duties**:
- Driveway/Entrance Culvert Installations.
- Excavate for Footings/Foundations per site plans.
- Ensure accuracy of excavations depths.
- Manage excavated materials in small spaces.
- Ensure safety of machinery access area.
- Load trucks and move materials as required.
- Trenching and Service Installations.
- Backfilling Foundations and Rough Site Grading.
- Septic Installations (on rural sites where applicable).
- General maintenance and visual inspection of all equipment, trucks and trailers.
- Comply with company and equipment safety policies, procedures and regulations.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- Support all team members as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of experience operating skid steers, excavators, dozers and loaders.
- Able to work long days, flexible work hours and weekends.
- Must have reliable access to a smart phone throughout the workday for contact and inspection or reporting completion, if required.
- An A or D license and floating experience would be considered an asset.

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically demanding, requiring but not limited to: bending, kneeling, lifting and climbing.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, dust, noise and cold.
