- Join a well-respected environmental consulting company engaged in interesting, dynamic workAs a Document Processor/Editor you will join the Project Services Team (office-hybrid-remote opportunities available). The successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows:
Proofread, copy edit, format, compile, and deliver technical documents including proposals, work plans, letter reports, formal reports, and corporate documents-
- Support multiple team members and projects with document processing needs-
- Manage and meet deadlines of a high-volume workload-
- Coordinate on project scope, schedule, and deliverables to support internal and external need-
- Prepare custom templates and style sheets to meet clients’ and Matrix’s standards-
- Print and bind documents, and prepare CDs, USBs flash drives, or upload documents to extranet sites or client systems-
- Update Matrix and client project systems and databases-
- Actively participate in maintaining Matrix’s strong safety culture, prioritizing health & safety-
- Flexible availability for extra hours/overtime to support team goals and ensure project successWhat We Are Looking ForPrevious experience editing documents such as formal reports, letter reports, proposals, and work plans-
- Degree, Certificate, or Diploma in English, Communications, Journalism, Project Management/Coordination, or a related field is preferred-
- Possess excellent organizational, file, and time management skills to effectively meet multiple deadlines-
- Outstanding communication skills, including proofreading and copy editing (grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition)-
- Exceptional attention to detail following company standards and pride in producing quality work-
- Experience in project planning and coordination-
- Possess advanced-level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, intermediate-level skills in PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat-
- Demonstrate the energy and enthusiasm to support others and adapt to the evolving needs of a dynamic environmentExperience in the following would be considered an asset:
- Managing projects using Workday software-
- Knowledge of Visio or MS Project-

This is a permanent position with an hourly rate of $22.12-28.37; starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
