**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Retail Storefront & Café Manager to lead our diverse and dynamic team at our Sud Forno Bakery location in downtown Toronto. In this beautifully designed space, customers can grab-and-go (or stay for a while enjoying our bright and airy self-seating area) a perfectly pulled espresso, Roman-Style pizza, salads, panini and pastries as well as shop in our curated Italian retail & wine shop. The Manager, Retail Storefront & Café brings a love of working on the floor leading and motivating frontline staff to curate exceptional experiences for our customers. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is 100% customer centric and has a genuine passion for Italian food, wine and culture

**Description of Role**:
Reporting to the location General Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of the Retail Storefront & Café from both a Guest Experience perspective as well as a Financial perspective. Leading staff with compassion, enthusiasm and a hospitality mindset, you will ensure that every guest experience is an exceptional one. You will provide staff with ongoing training and coaching to achieve the highest level of customer service as well as manage labour costs. Liaising with the Head Chef you will also manage inventory, ensure proper stocking and toration of items at all times and create eye catching, beautifully merchandised retail displays. This is a full-time in-person position that requires an open availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, weekends and holidays.

**Qualifications + Skills**:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role in a grocery store or marketplace- Merchandising experience in a retail environment- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills- Ability to warmly greet customers and create engaging interactions- Consistently priorities customer satisfaction and possesses a genuine passion for curating exceptional guest experiences- Fluent in Italian- Wine Knowledge is an asset
