Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for repairing and installing roofs on residential and commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and working at heights. If you have experience in carpentry, building, and working with hand tools, we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**:

- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare the surface for new materials
- Install new roofing materials, such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
- Repair damaged areas by replacing or repairing roofing materials
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete roofing projects
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations when working at heights

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for roof installations
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- roofing: 3 years (preferred)
