**THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU**

As an Insulation Assembler, you are primarily responsible to prepare winding packages for our Transformers based on the shop production schedule and insulation data sheets and manage inventory and supplies.

PTI is looking for individuals who have an aptitude for mechanics and an eye for detail. You should have the ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions and other technical documents with the ability work as part of a team to meet production goals.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Review insulation data sheet, drawings, winding specifications, and shop folder to determine materials required.
- Prepare materials for wining and coring department including winding/coring packages that are cut to specifications.
- Review Shop Orders and ensure they match design documentation and meeting quality standards.
- Organize the winding/coring shelving and supplies and retrieve materials needed from storage area.
- Monitor working supply inventory and inform supervisor when there are discrepancies or additional items are needed.
- Performing other duties as allocated.

**WHAT IT TAKES**
- Grade 12 equivalent combined with formal training and/or work experience in related field.
- 6+ months experience in manufacturing and/or related experience.
- Previous experience driving a forklift is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience working with a variety of hand tools.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in own work.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability work at sustained pace and produce quality work.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
