Durum Services Inc. Traffic Control Division is currently seeking **qualified Traffic Control Personnel** and **Temporary Workplace Signers** to join our group of highly trained and qualified staff.

In this role you will regulate the flow of road traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists through temporary workplaces to keep them and those in the work zone safe. Using a Stop/Slow paddle the TCP/ TWS will indicate whether motorist, pedestrians, or cyclists must stop prior to entering the temporary workplace or to proceed with caution.

- **Requirements**_
- **MUST** have a valid TCP and/or TWS accreditation from the province you are working in.
- **MUST** have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence with an acceptable drivers abstract.
- **MUST **be reliable and punctual. Those that are not will be terminated.
- Experience working on active construction sites with various pieces of equipment.
- Effective communication skills with co-workers and those who you are signing for.
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions, often working extended hours.
- Valid First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS would be an asset.
- Able to work as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
- Own transportation to a common meeting location.
- **Duties & Responsibilities**_
- Be responsible for the safe passage of motorist, pedestrians, and cyclists through the temporary workplace effectively by using the correct signage, cones/barricades, and Stop/Slow paddles.
- Assist with the placing of signs, cones, and barricades required for the temporary workplace.
- Communicate with other crewmembers, and the work zone Supervisor to regulate traffic safely.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Reports any unsafe hazards, acts, or incidents to your supervisor or the work zone Supervisor.

**Salary**: $15.00-$18.50 per hour
