Driver Supervisor

**WHO WE ARE**

Started in 1987 by a young entrepreneur with a single truck and trailer, Steve’s Livestock Transport has since grown to become a leader in the transportation industry.

With demonstrated and continued growth, we are currently looking for a Driver Supervisor to join our Logistics team in Blumenort, Manitoba.

**The Role**

This role would work on a rotation of 4 days on 4 days off from 6am-6pm.

**Responsibilities include**
- Develop relationships with your team of drivers
- Coach, direct and guide a group of assigned drivers, including discussions on performance, policies, procedures, etc.
- Ensure drivers are set up for success and have the tools they need for their work
- Dispatch drivers
- Communicate workload/schedules to drivers including customer requirements
- Administrative tasks related to driver pay, Logistics software, permits, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Proven team building and/or leadership skills
- Strong computer skills
