**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Manager, Primary Health Care, the community Dietitian provides nutritional assessments, develops client-focused nutrition plans, prepares health education, and offers individual nutrition counseling in primary health care.

The ability to function independently and as a member of an inter-professional team in a culturally sensitive manner is required for this position. The successful applicant will also facilitate community programming and group health education programs.
- Registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Current CPR

**Key Competencies**
- Two to three years experience conducting individual clinical nutritional assessments & nutritional counseling
- Experience facilitating community groups and health education
- Previous experience working with culturally diverse and marginalized populations
- Experience working in primary health care preferred

**Linguistic profile**
- English required
- French or other languages an asset
