DESCRIPTION OF GRAND VIEW MANOR:
Grand View Manor is a community governed not-for-profit long term care home; known to support our community through our commitment to quality care and innovative support for both clients and staff. Within our complex, care is provided in enriched housing, assisted living, and nursing home settings, with 5 nursing home units, 142 residents, and over 200 staff. One of the units is a secure unit for people with dementia and wandering behavior. We also have an attached assisted living facility (30 units), and an enriched housing apartment building (40 units). GVM staffing includes Nursing (Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Continuing Care Assistants, Auxiliaries), Food Services, Environmental Services (Laundry, Housekeeping), Maintenance, Recreation, OT/PT/PTA and Administrative Support.

You would be joining our team at an exciting time, as we plan for our new state of the art facility scheduled to open in 2025

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Clinical Dietitian reports to the Director of Care/Nursing and is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the clinical functions of the Nutrition and Food Services Department. This includes providing and promoting optimal nutritional care/food service to residents and apartment tenants, while adhering to licensing regulations and provincial requirements as well as the Mission Statement, Vision and Values of Grand View Manor. In the absence of the Food Service Manager, supervises food production and operational services.
