Carpenter Supervisor And/or Foreman

**Job Summary**:
We are looking to recruit experienced individuals to fill Carpenter Supervisor and/or Foremen positions. Variety of work including new construction and renovations on commercial & residential work sites. Work area restricted to Pictou County, Antigonish, and Truro.

**Duties**:

- Supervise and lead a team of carpenters/apprentices/labourers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to quality standards
- Read and communicate building code, blueprints, client specifications, and product requirements to team
- Assist with scheduling & coordination of subtrades to ensure timely completion of projects
- Order materials and supplies as required
- Operate various hand tools/machinery, mobile equipment & scaffolding

**Experience in one of the followings areas required**:

- concrete formwork/reinforcing, including ICF
- rough framing, roofing, cladding, windows/doors
- interior systems (framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, millwork, etc.)

**Qualifications**:

- Good communication skills, ability to supervise & work well with others
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Able to work with mínimal supervision & produce quality workmanship
- Good customer service skills, keep sites clean & organized
- Detail orientated and able to do layout and make precise measurements & cuts
- Commitment to safety, including wearing PPE
